Walkingjersey uses two hotels as their accommodation; one is on the southern
coast of jersey in walking distance of St Helier and the other a superior
location but 3 miles outside of St Helier.
The Marina Hotel is superbly situated on the seafront overlooking the beach.
Just a few minutes walking distance to the town shopping centre and direct bus
route.
The Marina has 36 beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms, all with
en-suite facilities. The hotel has a comfortable and spacious well- stocked bar,
the perfect place in which to sit and relax overlooking the stunning coast line.
The Samarès Coast Hotel is often regarded as the most complete hotel in the east
of the island.
Situated in a prime sea front location yet boasting fantastic award winning
gardens, it provides a most restful location for your Jersey holiday. You can
dine as evening falls, allowing you superb views over St. Clement's Bay whilst
sampling the chef's fine fayre. A well appointed indoor leisure complex has
recently been built and overlooks the outdoor swimming area and hotel gardens.
Facilities also include spa bath and steam room, as well as a modern mini gym
with rowing and step machines, exercise bikes and weights. Much of the complex,
including the high vaulted roof, has been constructed from timber from renewable
resources and, on entering the building, you are immediately struck by the
fragrance of fresh pinewood. An outdoor pool bar is open on fine days for your
enjoyment. In addition to the 50 en suite bedrooms, the hotel boasts 12
self-catering apartments. The hotel itself has been progressively developed
throughout the years with emphasis always being very much on quality, that is
